CAPEA 2023 Fall Conference VIRTUAL

Theme: Reshaping the Future: Challenges to Educational Leadership and Inclusive Education

In the midst of the continuing attacks on our educational institutions, it is of utmost urgency that we, as educational leaders, remain focused on developing structures and systems of support that address the many inequities that impact our diverse school communities.

The CAPEA Fall 2023 Conference will provide members with an opportunity to engage in critical dialogue and reflection on the issues manifesting themselves in our educational environment. We invite proposals that address the inherent challenges facing us as educational leaders, and the obstacles we face in creating and developing inclusive educational structures.

The CAPEA Fall 2023 Conference presentations will be based on the following themes:

· Cultural Taxation

· Navigating the Academy

· Preparation, Transition, and Retention of Educational Leaders

· Structure, Policy, and Governance (K-12 & IHE)

· Structural Racism

Dates: October 25-26, 2023

Pre-conference: October 25, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm
