Heritage Project

The CAPEA Heritage Project is a collection of resources pertaining to the "educational administration" profession. Included among these resources are: (a) instructional modules, (b) theories and supporting data, (c) practitioner stories, (d) case studies, and (e) simulations. These materials represent some of the best practices and thinking in the profession (our heritage).

Contributions are organized as they are accepted chronologically in accord with the following outline of the knowledge base in educational administration.

Submitting Materials

Send materials (ideas and theories (with supporting data), opinion pieces, instructional modules, case studies and simulations, and practitioner stories) in Microsoft Word format to the CAPEA Historian (Dr. Louis Wildman: ).

Submission implies that the material has not previously been published, and that it is only being submitted for publication in the CAPEA Heritage Project.

Follow the style of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition).

Indicate the domain or domains (listed above) to which the material most closely pertains.

The material will be reviewed, and authors will be notified whether the material has been accepted, whether further editing is required, or whether the material has not been accepted for inclusion in this Heritage Project. These decisions may be appealed to a committee of three CAPEA assistant editors, and their decision is final.
